The Duff Gordons

From London came a cablegram (to the White Star office), asking for news of Sir Cosmo and Lady Duff Gordon. The cable remained unanswered for some time as line officials and their employees had more than they could attend to in the handling of inquiries at their doors. Finally, however, a cablegram was sent to London, stating that both Sir Cosmo and Lady Duff Gordon were among those who had been saved.
