NEW YORK, April 18---A woman claiming to be the second cousin of Major Archibald Butt, military aide to President Taft, from Plymouth, Mass., called at the White Star line office this morning to inquire whether anything had been heard of her missing relative.

When she was told that there was no word from him she fainted. She was revived quickly and went away without giving her name.
