Henry B. Harris, the well-known theatrical man who lost his life in the sinking of the Titanic last week, was a very intimate friend of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph P. Tepper, of this city, and had been touring Europe in company with Mr. Tepper’s brother-in-law and the latter’s wife, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Selwyn.

At the last minute the Selwyns decided to remain in France for a while longer, else they would almost certainly have sailed for home on the Titanic.

Mrs. Harris was saved from the wreck which cost her husband’s life, but is very sick at home in New York. Beside suffering from shock, Mrs. Harris is nursing a broken arm, the result of a fall on board the steamer on the evening before the wreck.
