SAYS CAPTAIN SHOT STEERAGE PASSENGERS

Mrs. Mariana Aasaf a Titanic survivor, told friends here today that she saw several steerage passengers attempt to rush the lifeboats and that Capt. Smith shot down several of them.  Three cousins pleaded for a seat, but were refused, she said.
