Mrs. J.J. Brown, a Favorite in Smart Set and Politics
Mrs. J.J. Brown of Denver, a possible candidate for the United States Senate, is shown above with her niece, Miss Helen Tobin, who recently created a sensation in her Japanese costume at a fete in Newport. In an interview, Mrs. Brown said that Senator Helen Ring Robinson, her attorney, and Judge Ben Lindsay have been looking over political conditions to see if the time is right for the nomination of Mrs. Brown. Mrs. Brown said that she has been a winner in everything she undertakes. In the pioneer days of Colorado, she said she aided Judge Lindsay. She asserted that if nominated she was certain of election.
