Silent Toast to Major Butt.

NEW HAVEN, Conn., April 23.---A silent toast to Major Archibald Butt was drunk last night by the Second Company Governor's Foot Guard, one of the historic military organizations of the State, at its annual observance of the anniversary of the departure of the company for Cambridge in 1775.
