Mr Alfred John George Rush, 16, from Kent was travelling with Frank Goldsmith and family. Frank had promised to delivery the young man to his brother in Detroit, Michigan.
Rush and the others boarded the Titanic at Southampton as third class passengers. Alfred, who celebrated his sixteenth birthday on board ship, died in the sinking.
