Miss Augusta Maria Vanderplancke
Miss Augusta Maria Vanderplancke, 18, was born in Zwevezele, Belgium on 30th December, 1893. She worked as a lace maker in Zwevezele.
Auguste and her brother Leo were heading to Detroit, Michigan to visit relatives, then they would join their brother Jules and his wife Emilia in Fremont, Ohio.
The family boarded the Titanic in Southampton as third class passengers.
They all lost their lives in the sinking. None of their bodies, if recovered, were identified.
