Miss Bridget Donohoe
Miss Bridget Donohoe (1), 21 of Cum, Co Mayo, was born in January of 1891, the daughter of David Donohoe and Catherine Moyles.
She was travelling from her home in Cum to, it is thought, Chicago, Illinois. She boarded the Titanic at Queenstown as a third class passenger (ticket number 364856, £7 15s). She was travelling with 13 others from around the Crossmolina area of Co Mayo (see Katherine McGowan).
Bridget Donohoe lost her life in the disaster. Her body, if recovered, was never identified.
Notes
1. Her name is often given as "O'Donoghue". The name Donohoe, as opposed
to O’Donohughe, is taken from the 1901 census of Co Mayo.
