Mr David Matherson, 30, was born in Thurso, Scotland. When he signed-on to the Titanic he spelt his name "Matheson" and gave his address as 20 Everton Street, Southampton. His wages were £5 per month. His last ship had been the Adriatic.
Matherson died in the sinking. His body was recovered by the MacKay Bennett (#192) and was buried at Fairview Cemetary, Halifax Nova Scotia on 8 May 1912.
