Mr Frank Thomas Andrew
Mr Frank Thomas Andrew was born in the small hamlet of Carnkie in the parish of Wendron, Cornwall in 1889. He was a son of James Andrew (tin miner and latterly granite quarry labourer) and Susan (nee Penaluna) and a younger brother of Thomas and William. He had 3 sisters, Lucy, Clara and Laura. He married Rhoda Tripp on 4 July 1908 and their first child, Lucy, was born in November of the same year. A second daughter was named Clara. The family lived at 'Pencoys', Four Lanes, Cornwall.
Andrew boarded the Titanic at Southampton as a second class passenger (ticket number 34050, £10 10s), he was ultimately bound for the mining region of Houghton, Michigan. During the voyage he shared a dining table with Edwina Troutt, Edgar Andrew, Charles and Alice Louch, Jacob Milling and Bertha Ilett.
Andrew died in the sinking, his body, if recovered, was never identified.
