Mr Frederick Maxfield Hoyt

 

Frederick Maxfield Hoyt, 38, was born in Amsterdam, NY on 15 September 1873.

A resident of New York, NY, Mr Hoyt boarded the Titanic at Southampton as first class passenger (ticket number 19943, £90) together with his wife Jane Anne. Their eventual destination was to be Stamford, Connecticut. The couple occupied cabin C-93.

Hoyt was pulled aboard collapsible D, the same boat in which he wife was rescued.

In his later years, he was a member of the Larchmont Yacht Club, the same club in which fellow survivor, Harry Anderson, was also a member.

Frederick Maxfield Hoyt died on 5 July 1940.
