Mr George Charles Dodd

Mr George Charles Dodd, 44, was born in London.
Dodd initially joined the Titanic in Belfast for the delivery trip to Southampton. When he signed-on to the Titanic, on 4 April, 1912 he gave his address as 59 Morris Road, (Southampton). His last ship had been the Olympic. As second steward he received monthly wages of £10.
Dodd was instrumental in directing passengers to the lifeboats. Dodd himself perished in the sinking. His body, if recovered, was never identified.
