Mr Henri Marie Jaillet was born in Lyon, France on 26th October 1873.
When he signed-on to the Titanic, on 6th April, 1912, his address was 4 Queens Park Terrace, London. His last ship had been the Lusitania. As a member of the à la carte restaurant he was employed and therefore paid by Mr Gatti.

Jaillet died in the sinking. His body was recovered by the Mackay-Bennett (#277), on 30 April 1912 his effects were given to the agent of the White Star Line A.G. Jones & Co. for delivering them to his relatives in England. He was buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Halifax, Nova Scotia on 10th May, 1912.

Henri Jaillet left a widow (Margaret), two sons (Henry Mari and Frederick Ernest) and a grandmother named Sarah Hutton (probably his wife's mother, who lived with them). They received financial support from the Titanic relief fund as Class B dependants (widow 1 pound 12s 6d à week, children 5s 6d per week and grandmother 3s 6d every week).
