Mr Henry Samuel Morley
Mr Henry Samuel Morley, 39, lived at 22, Foregate St, Worcester, England and was senior partner in the firm of L.Morley, confectioners which had branches in High St, Birmingham; Bristol St, Birmingham; and also in Worcester. Morley told friends that he was travelling to Los Angeles principally to recuperate after illness but in fact he was eloping with Kate Florence Phillips. They boarded the Titanic at Southampton, as second class passengers, under the names of Mr and Mrs Marshall.
Morley died in the sinking. His firm's shops closed for a day after his fate became known, as a mark of respect. He left a wife and one child.
