Mr John Bannon
Mr John Bannon, of 9 St. George Street, Southampton died in the sinking. According to Bannon's friend, Thomas Dillon, Bannon & Dillon were on the poop deck when the ship went under. Dillon later found Bannon afloat on a grating, but when Dillon couldn't climb on, he was forced to leave Bannon. Bannon was not seen again.
His body, if recovered, was never identified.
