Mr John Brookman
Mr John Brookman, 27, was born in Hampshire.1 His mother
was Mrs Figgins, who lived at Cannon Lane.2
When he signed-on to the Titanic, on 4 April 1912, he gave his address
as 34 Richmond Street, (Southampton). His last ship had been the Olympic.
As a third class steward he received monthly wages of £3 15s.3
Brookman was married to Alice only three days before Titanic sailed on
10 April 1912.4
Brookman died in the sinking.5 His body, if recovered, was
never identified.6
Alice Brookman received financial aid of 15s 0d from the Mansion House
Titanic Relief Fund.7
