Mr John Edward Maguire

Mr John Edward Maguire, 30, was born on 7 February 1882.

Maguire was a salesman for the Dunbar Pattern Co. of Brockton. Two years before, in 1910, he had been in charge of the Brockton Lodge.

He and his friends George Quincy Clifford and Walter Chamberlain Porter travelled for Europe on 20 Febuary 1912, leaving from Boston on the Megantic. After touring England and other parts of Europe Maguire was returning home from his first trip abroad.

All three boarded the Titanic at Southampton as first class passengers. Maguire held ticket no. 110469 (£26) and occupied cabin C-108.

Maguire died in the sinking, his body, if recovered, was never identified.
