Mr Kurt Arnold Gottfrid Bryhl
Mr Kurt Arnold Gottfrid Bryhl, 25, was born on 2 March, 1887 the son of Gustaf Gottfrid Lustig, a lawyer in Skara, Sweden. Kurt worked as upholsterer in Skara; he and his sister Dagmar Bryhl had taken their name from their grandmother. They boarded the Titanic at Southampton with Dagmar's fiancé Ingvar Enander as second class passengers. Kurt acted as interpreter for the group.
Upon arrival in America Ingvar, Kurt and Dagmar were to join the Bryhl's uncle Oskar Lustig at 511 Pearl St. Rockford, Illinois.
Mr Bryhl unlike the others, was emigrating to America. On the night of the sinking, Dagmar recalled, Kurt had been wearing a gray-speckled costume. He died in the disaster.
