Ms Mary McGovern
Miss Mary McGovern, 22, of Corlough, Co Cavan, Ireland, was born in 1890 in Clarbally, Co Cavan, Ireland, the daughter of John and Bridget McGovern.
She boarded the Titanic at Queenstown as a third class passenger (ticket number 330931, £7 17s 7d). Her destination was New York City.
Miss McGovern survived the sinking, having managed to find her way to lifeboat 13.
Mary eventually returned to Ireland where, in 1921, she was later married to Peter McGovern. She resided in Tullytrasna, Co Cavan, Ireland for the rest of her life and died there on 24 August 1957. She was buried in the Corlough Cemetary in Tullytrasna.

1. She is sometimes listed as Mrs Hugh McGovern, but lists are conflicting in
their reports of her marital status.
