Mr Montague Vincent Mathias, 27, was born at Chepstow. When signed on to the Titanic on 6 April 1912, he gave his address as 2 Western Esplanade, Southampton. His previous ship was the Olympic. His wages were £4 per month.

Mathias died in the sinking. His body, if recovered, was never identified.
