Mrs John Pillsbury Snyder (Nelle Stevenson), 23, was born on 15 January 1889 in Wisconsin, the daughter of Thomas W. Stevenson and Cora Vincent.

Nelle had been recently married to John Pillsbury Snyder and they lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The couple were returning from their honeymoon on the Titanic which they boarded at Southampton as first class passengers, they occupied cabin B-45.

Mr and Mrs Snyder were rescued in lifeboat7.

The Snyder's had three children, a daughter married Rowley Miller, a son John Jr. lives in Wayzata, Minnesota and a son Thomas S. Snyder died prior to 1983.

Nelle Snyder died in Wayzata on 9 December 1983, at the age of 94.
