Mr Nils Martin Ödahl
Mr Nils Martin Ödahl, 23, was born 22 October 1888. The son of Ola Öhdal and Hanna Nilsson, he had six siblings.
Nils Martin Ödahl had gone to agricultural schools an Sweden and Denmark. He worked as an agricultural inspector in Rydsgård, Örsjö, Skåne, Sweden. He was travelling to the USA to study further before returning to work in Sweden. His uncle, Mr N.O. Nelson 725 Warner Ave. Peoria, Illinois, had sent him the ticket.
Ödahl boarded the Titanic at Southampton as a third class passenger , he died in the sinking and his body was never found.
The Mansion House Fund paid 875.52 Kr (£48) to his parents and 912 Kr (£50) to his siblings. A claim for damages of 954 Kr (£50) was paid 5 January 1915.
