Mr Percival Thorneycroft, 36, was born in Leeds, Kent in 1875, the son of Agricultural Labourer Thomas Thorneycroft and his wife Drucilla. He married Florence Stears on 26th December, 1899.
In 1912 Percy and Florence were living in Maidstone, Kent.
He boarded the Titanic at Southampton as a third class passenger (ticket number 376564, £16, 2s). He was travelling with his wife Florence from Maidstone to Clinton, New York. Their last address was given as 14 Walter St., Penge, London. Travelling with them was Robert Guest.
Mr Thorneycroft lost his life in the disaster. His body, if recovered, was never identified.
