Miss Ruth Taussig
Miss Ruth Taussig was born on 25 November 1893, the daughter of Emil Taussig and Tillie Taussig.
Ruth boarded the Titanic at Southampton with her parents. She occupied cabin E-68.
Ruth and her mother were rescued in lifeboat 8.
Ruth Taussig was married after the sinking to Julius B. Lichtenstein, had two daughters, Elinor and Alice, and lived in New York City. Tragically she died, at the age of just 31, from Typhoid fever on 9 January 1925. Two days later she was buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, New York.
