Mr Sigurd Hansen Moen

Mr Sigurd Hansen Moen, 25, from Bergen, Norway was travelling with his brother-in-law Olaus Abelseth and Abelseth's cousin Peter Søholt, Karen Marie Abelseth, Anna Salkjelsvik and Adolf Humblen. The group boarded the Titanic at Southampton. Moen's eventual destination was to be Minneapolis, MN, USA.

Sigurd Moen lost his life in the disaster. His body was later recovered (#309) and on May 9th 1912 was forwarded to New York to be returned to Norway by the Scandinavian American Line.
