Mr Thomas James Everett, 36, was born on 22 May 1872. He was the son of Henry and Louisa Everett. His occupation was that of a crane driver.

Everett boarded the Titanic at Southampton as a third class passenger (ticket numberC. A. 6212, £15 2s) with his friend Frederick Blainey Shellard, also of Bristol whom he was going to work for in America. They had been due to travel on Philadelphia but had their booking changed due to the coal strikes.

Thomas Everett had travelled to Southampton from Bristol, Somerset where he lived at 7 Treefield Place, Mina Road, St Werburgh's with his wife Fanny and 3 children, Everett, Harry and Harold. They were both bound for Troy, New York. Both men were lost in the sinking. Thomas' body was subsequently recovered from the sea on 23 April 1912 by the cable-laying vessel Mackay-Bennett and taken to Halifax, Nova Scotia where he was interred in Fairview Cemetery on 10 May 1912.
