Mr William McQuillan, of 79 Sea View Street, Belfast Ireland, died in the sinking. He was the only fireman to join the Titanic in Belfast before the trials to sign on again in Southampton.
His body was recovered by the Mackay-Bennett, and was buried at Fairview Cemetary, Halifax, Nova Scotia on 6 May 1912.
