Mr William John Mellors
Mr William John Mellors, 19, an unmarried salesman from London, England, boarded the Titanic at Southampton as a second class passenger. To reach his destination New York, he bought ticket number SW/PP 751 for £10 10s.
Mr Mellors survived the sinking by swimming to Collapsible B. After over two hours he was rescued by Officer Lowe and finally picked up by the Carpathia.
After arriving in New York, he went to his cousin, Mr Hale, at Richmond Country Club, Donganhills, Staten Island (400 West 57th Street, New York). His father lived at 8 Christ Church Terrace, Chelsea, London.
