Mr William Young Moyes
Mr William Young Moyes, 23, was born in Stirling, Scotland, the son of the headmaster of the Primary High School, Stirling. William Young Moyes, known as "Billie," was educated at Stirling Elementary High School and lived at 11 Douglas Terrace, Stirling, Scotland.
An acomplished sportsman, Moyes he was captain of the Rugby football club at Stirling.
Moyes served his apprenticeship with David Rowan & Co. of Glasgow. He joined White Star and just before Christmas 1911 began to work aboard the Oceanic before joining Titanic as Senior 6th Engineer.
He lost his life in the sinking, his body, if recovered, was never identified.
