I created this document to assist Titanic researchers. I have found it maddening to have to thumb through numerous books to find a particular citation on a certain subject. Using this document you can more easily locate the citation you're looking for. Look down the list of topics till you find the one of interest to you, you can then see which authors talked about that subject and on what page in their book they did so. In cases where an author wrote more than one book on the Titanic I have included part of the title between the author's name and the page number, for ease in finding the correct book and page. At the end of the document is a bibliography of the books I used. I have not included the testimony from the U.K. or U.S. inquiries as you can go online to Titanic Inquiries and use the built in search engine to find the citation you're looking for. This is a first draft and it is entirely possible I may have missed a citation, or even a whole book, as I used the books in my own library and some from Maine Maritime Academy's library. If you find such errors please send the correct information along to me and I'll happily include it in a revised edition. I plan to add more material in the future about people connected with the Titanic story. Regards Capt. Charles Weeks.
