Titanic Disaster Survivor Drowns in a Shallow Pond

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. April 18--Surviving the Titanic disaster April 14, 1912, by swimming for hours in the icy waters until picked up by a rescue ship, Oscar Palmquist of 42 Lenox Avenue was drowned in six feet of water in a pond in Beardsley Park into which he is beleived to have wandered.

Missing since March 23, Palmquist's body was discovered in the pond today.
