Titanic Disaster, Westcountry Passengers and Crew

Western Morning News

Among those on board the Titanic was a son of Mrs Parsons of Bronshill Road, Torquay. Mr Edward Parsons had been in the service of the White Star Line practically all his life and has a wife and five children at Southampton. He was visiting his mother only last summer. He had previously served on the Oceanic, Teutonic, Majestic and other White Star boats. On the Titanic he held the position of chief storekeeper. Great sympathy is felt at Torquay for Mrs and Miss Parsons in their distressing anxiety.
