Mr John Irwin Flynn, 36, from Brooklyn, New York, was a buyer with the household furnishing department of Gimbels and Bros.. He boarded the Titanic at Southampton as a first class passenger (Ticket No. PC 14474, £26 5s 9d). He shared cabin E-25 with James McGough.
Flynn was rescued in Lifeboat 5.
