[Fireman and Trimmer Thresher, Son of George Samuel and Catherine Thresher, husband of Jane Thresher of Felling, Co. Durham.
Remembered with Honour on the Tower Hill Memorial.
Commemorated in Perpetuity by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.]
[The SS Parkhill was a 500 ton ship which disappeared on 17th November 1939 in the North Sea.]
