William Edward Bessant in 1911 census

William Bessant was residing at 36 Henry Road, FREEMANTLE, Southampton at the time of the 1911 census.  He was recorded as being a labourer. He was arried to Emily Ellen for 17 years.  They had five children 

  • Charles william aged 14 born in Freemantle and an errand boy
  • Gladys Lillian May aged 10 and at school
  • Florence Ellen Maud aged 5
  • Standley Lenard aged 3
  • Albert Edward aged 8 months

all born in Freemantle.  Both Emily and William are recorded as being born in Totton Hants.
