WOMAN IN COLLAPSE

PDF Print

Chicago Record-Herald

A handsomely garbed woman seated in a taxicab asked the reporters if the name of Wier appeared on the list of those saved.  She refused to reveal her identity and when told that the name did not appear on the list she collapsed and a physician was called to administer a restorative.  The woman then returned uptown with the statement that she would return later

Among the first class passengers on bord the Titanic the name of J. Wier appears, but it is believed he went down with the ship.
