bedroom steward

Hello everyone! I was wondering what the shift schedule for a first class bedroom steward might be? I understand they served 3-5 rooms onboard, but were they expected to attend to these rooms constantly? Did one steward cover an assigned section of cabins at day and another take on these duties...

Gave birthplace as Devon at sign-on. Anyone know where his birth was registered, parentage etc etc. I don't think he is the one as described on the biography page, (of Ilfracombe, N Devon) but I am willing to be proved wrong. Thanks Steve

From an old crew list I have this person, aged 41 in 1912 as possibly of Devon. I can't find anything on him on ET. Any ideas?
