Letters or postcards from onboard the Titanic, by the second class?

Were there any second class passengers sent letters or postcards from board the Titanic, describing their lifes onboard, Pals? All I know is Juliette Marie Laroche, she sent her greeting to her father on 11 April. Wonderful accommodation, meals of second class were written down.

Were letters given to people in lifeboats by men who knew that they weren't going to survive?

In 'Titanic 1997' there is a deleted scene where a man gives Rose a letter for her to give to his wife in the US. Is there any recorded incidents where men would give letters to people in the boats to give to their wives as a goodbye?
