When Carpathia picked up Titanic’s lifeboats how far was that location from what we know today to be Titanic’s actual sinking position? Another way of asking the question is how far did Titanic’s lifeboats travel before they were picked up?
Questions about the bodies.... does anyone know how the victims were identified? How and when were survivors and families informed if their loved ones had been rescued or not rescued? And were coffins sent to families for burial?
