As today is the anniversary of the sinking, im surprised it did not appear in the On This Day page of the site. Unless I've missed it somehow! Did anyone commemorate it in any way?

Today, I am assuming, is 21 November 2016 ?
The 100th anniversary of the sinking of which ship which sank on 21 November 1916 ?

I watched part of Britannic (2000) on YouTube. Let us pray for and remember the 30 victims and 1,030 survivors on this centennial.

Thanks. I wasn't aware you were referring to Britannic.
I should have done my homework. :-(
Sorry.
My apologies.
No problem. It was actually 22nd in England by the time I posted, but as most of the members are in the U.S. I posted anyway.

It sounds as though the newspaper correspondent was more annoyed because the Germans sank a ship with no wounded on board. Perhaps because she was a less military target with no (albeit wounded) soldiers aboard.
