Found this remarkable video on youtube which recaptures life in New York city in 1911 with incredible sound effects. Almost feels like I could step inside the film and see the Olympic approaching on her maiden voyage.

This footage is amazing! It's also a bit weird to actually see "real" footage of people just walking around and doing everyday tasks (since most of the time, it's staged or everyone's waving and posing in-front of the camera).

It's so crisp and clear that I'm seriously wondering how we don't have clearer HD footage of Olympic (and hopefully Titanic somewhere).
