Hi, I hope somebody will be able to help me.

My great grandfather Walter Hurst was invited by the BBC in the 1950s/60s to take part in a TV documentary/interview about the Titanic.

Does anybody know anything at all about this? I'd appreciate any little tit bits of information.

Dear Stacey

I'm sorry for not replying until now, but BBC South Today have recently uploaded this 1957 TV documentary to YouTube. You can watch it on the weblink below. Walter Hurst is interviewed from 13.50 - 14.52 on the video, where he describes his time aboard Collapsible B. Several other survivors are also interviewed. I hope this is the documentary you were looking for, and that you enjoy watching it.

Thomas
