Hey folks,
I haven't been here for quite some time now and I thought some of you would like to see this video I've made last month
This is a Timelapse of a livestream where I attempted to sink the Titanic as close as possible to real time. It ended up taking 2h30min instead of 40
Quick Disclaimer,
This is a 2D Soft body physics Simulation. Due to its nature, it's impossible to create a proper and perfectly accurate sinking of the Titanic which extend to the breakup as well.
However I thought it would be an interesting thing to bring on the table, it's not 100% useless. it might even help simulating the way water flows around or perhaps be used as a good demonstration for buoyancy
I was quite impressed how close it was to the H&G real time video
