A Night to Remember Titanic Model Art Project

Here, I'll be sharing my drawings of the 35ft long model from one of my favourite Titanic films, "A Night to Remember. In here, my drawings clearly resemble the model my art style really mimics it. I tried to do the same with the real ship, but the windows on A deck were a bit of troublesome for me to draw. So I went with the A Night to Remember model and it worked.

We'll be starting with my first ever drawing of the model with the ventilators behind the bridge and forward of the first funnel.

Then, with this concept art that showcases the components of the model such as the Olympic's extended aft cutaway, the Britannic's windows on A and B deck and the deckhouse around cargo hatches.

The next one is another hand drawn piece of mine. The model sailing on the open sea. One minor thing that did change is the forward A deck cutaway.

Following that we come across my digital drawing of the model in colour featuring the improvements. Minus the railing which I entirely forgot and wasn't able to add it after it was done. Whoops!

And the last one, to finish this post, the cover of the foundation as a promo art. and a special tribute to the "cousin of the Builder's model". He-he! Anyway, here I chose to add the riveting and a few details and "badabi badabum! That's what I've been looking for." Ok, I might've went a little bit overboard on that one. XD

And the most recent one, the model sailing on the open sea.

Still more to come, so stay tuned. ;)

Decided to redraw my original drawing of Titanic (as a silhouette) approaching Queenstown. But this time, bringing back the 35ft long model as how it would've been if the studio "The Rank Organisation" managed to produce daylight scenes for the film.

And I did a mistake with a year I drew this. It should've been 2022 not 2021. My guess is that all of my ANTR Titanic model art was supposed to me done last year, but I didn't have a drawing tablet at the time. So I'm just filling the gap.

Whilst on the subject of Titanic model. There is an advert on UK TV at present. Build your own model from kit one. Has anybody had a go at it yet?

Here's my remastered version of my original drawing of A Night to Remember Titanic model at sea. While the original only had sheer on the bow and the stern I've decided to add it with how I usually draw these angles as I usually shade the names to make them look not that visible like on an area from where the light source is coming from.

I've noticed that I posted this after my previous thread about the A Night to Remember Titanic model art. Whoops! I really don't pay attention with posting something that's already up there don't I?

Bound for America.jpg

'Bound for America' is my new piece with A Night to Remember Titanic model at sea. Unlike my previous stuff I wanted to go by a reference from the film, but it's not that easy in the beginning. But still, I've done my best.
