A single Grand Staircase photo that is different. Does anyone have an explanation.

OK I’m either going to get People saying wow or telling me duh everyone already knew about this .
anyway I couldn’t find Any info so figured I would put it out there.
So above the carving of honor and glory on the Olympic you can see that the decorations are not exactly identical on the left as on the right . The carving from the Olympic is in a museum and there’s plenty of documentation that we know that was from olympic. Also it was said that there were no pictures of Titanic’s carving. Take a close look at the following pictures and please tell me if this is a change to it at some point or is it a photo of a reproduction carving ? I don’t know but they clearly are different. The Photo that I circled the area in question The design is identical on the left side it’s the right side. Is it a photo of titanic ? I mean it’s more accurate in every other aspect . if it was a reproduction it’s more accurate than the one used in James Cameron’s movie. also Some point Someone wrote RMS Titanic on the photo as well.
Hoping to hear what your thoughts are .

Sorry to say that it is photo shopped. The carving left was mirrored to the right side. Can not remember but I think it was Dan Smith who did that on Facebook. As usual, images were right clicked and spread with wrong description all over the net.

Ok Im not doubting you by any means as that could be what it is . everything else is so accurate. The only question would be why ? What reason to photoshop this and only that portion . is there an original non- photoshopped to compare?

Even more odd is that the wood grain is not symmetrical in the center of that area .Obviously someone would’ve had to put a bit of effort to do that was the intention here to claim it was a different ship?

It's from one of the H&W images. Why he change it, can not remember, it is a few years ago now.

The reason, very simply, is to deceive. There's a LOT of that on Social Media. It's not as if politicians of any stripe have a monopoly on fake news.

The wall panel was removed from the Olympic when she was scrapped and was for a while relocated to the Southampton maritime museum. You can see images of it on google images - search for - Olympic honor glory southampton
