Addergoole Passengers

Fourteen people left the small parish of Addergoole on the west coast of Ireland, three survived. This was the largest proportionate loss from an area for Irish people travelling on the Titanic, and probably the largest proportionate loss for all passengers. Last April a monument was erected in Lahardane (Co Mayo) to these travellers, and all those who sailed on the Titanic.
