Adele Nasser and the Dolings

Has anybody any suggestions as to which lifeboat Adele Nasser and the Dolings may have left the Titanic. I saw an article (I can't for the life of myself remember where) that claimed the Dolings left in lifeboat 10. Adele Nasser is a complete mystery.

Best wishes

Cameron

Dear Cameron, Mrs Nasrallah and the Dolings are rather enigmatic in this respect. I have never seen an interview of any sort, they are mentioned by nobody in the lifeboats or anything like that. Second class passengers tended to leave from their promenade-deck area, however; boats 9, 11 and 13 on the starboard side held a few, as well as boats 10, 12 and 14 on the port side. There were some in No 16 and perhaps the Richards/Hockings in boat 4, but that's it. I have a feeling the Dolings left in one of the earlier starboard boats, i e 9, 10, 11 or 12, but there is of course nothing to prove this.
Mrs Nasrallah had to leave her husband, which makes the port boats a far more likely alternative for her. She probably left in 10 or 12, but again, this is only a guess. Some ladies had to leave their husbands/friends at boat 11 as well; the sailors and officers thought the boat was full. It would be very interesting if you found the article stating the presence of the Dolings in boat 10.

Best regards,

Peter
