Hi all, I was just wondering if there were any animals on board the titanic the night she sank and if so what happened to them? Did they all perish?
Any information available will help thanks, and i apologise if this subject has already been discussed as I am new to this board, thanks, Bree.

  4. Well I read that John Jacob Astor had brought his Airedale named Kitty[weird name I know] on board and when the ship was sinking he went and unlocked all the animal cages so they could get out.
  5. That is just a myth. Some also attribute this act to Robert Daniel.
  6. Hi all, I know I'm a bit late in this discussion, haven't been on here 4 a while, but does anyone know how many animals there were on the Titanic? Someone asked me the other day and I wasn't sure. I know there were some first class dogs, but that's all I do know. Does anyone know an exact number? Thanx! Jessica
