Another 3D Lusitania Model

Hello everyone, I'm a novice at modeling ships in Blender and I was recently inspired by FelisLeopard's excellent Lusitania model to give a crack at it myself. If anyone could send me or point me in the direction of deck plans, framing plans, or high-resolution images of the Lusitania, it would be very much appreciated. (I may end up 3D printing this model if it turns out well enough)

You have several options for this.

There the basic plans you can find on the internet, or on Lusitania.net for modeling each deck properly.

If you want some crazy detailed plans, you can go to the original ships plans, i think Glasgow has them but im not sure. If you search around im sure you can find something.

Also i would highly recommend looking at any photo you can of the Lusitania, alot changed through out her history and most of these are only documented in photos

Ideally I would use model plans, but I haven't been able to find full plans, only bits and pieces (for instance, I found a front side view of a framing guide, but not a side profile). I have downloaded the deck plans in addition to some top-down diagrams of the forecast le and poop deck. Unfortunately, it seems like highly detailed schematics of the ship are very hard to come by just by searching the world wide web.

If you PM fellow ET user Martin Owen Cahill, he might be able to direct you to where to acquire a set as i know he has some nice ones.
